Why I wrote this ebook?
Filing for removal of the conditional residency can be for some a long, expensive and painful process.
There are things I wish I knew on time before expending 4 years to have the conditionality removed.
My conditional residency expired in 9/2/2002, 3 months before expiring my husband and I filed the i751 application, one year later from the filing date I decided to get divorce. The notice of interview came in November 2004.
In June 2003 I got divorce and my joint application was still pending. I consulted different lawyers but I was not able to pay their high fees. So, I just decided to wait for the interview.
Along the way different issues came: like having to change my last name, drivers license, social security card and many other documents that can make your life easier or just more complicated. Traveling also resulted an issue.
The e-book I’m giving you FREE the result of my experience and the things learned in the process that I considered you should know; information that lawyers don’t mind, plus some possible problems or scenarios that can come along the way when filing this application.
The e-book includes useful links and samples of important documents.
Also if you filed an i751 and file for N400 application when divorced, you are not eligible yet for naturalization.
DID YOU KNOW THAT? I didn’t. And my LAWYER didn’t know after I paid him $1,500.00 for nothing.
